And while I'm here a few more pictures of Smudge at 8 months old,

Poser me???

its a hard life being a puppy.

It has been such a long time since our last post, can't really believe it is nearly the end of February. Here are some pictures of Smudge enjoying the beach at Crosby when we went up for New Years Eve.
He has grown so much since then but we always seem to forget to take the camera out.

Smudge posing with his KC Good Doggie Citizenship Rosette.

He's such a good boy. Well Done Smudge!

Training cont.

Bit of training here, Smudge is doing soo well.

Too cute not to

Smudge feel asleep on his cushion yesterday, took this snap to share.

Dog bowl?

Whispa took a liking to Smudge's food today, made us laugh :)

Cuddles!!!

Smudgey lovin'

Ash Vale Ranges

Smudge is getting bigger! No surprise.

We took him on the Surrey ranges where he had plenty of fun and exploration. He's almost 5 months old here.

First camping/beach trip

This weekend was Smudge's first camping holiday. We all went down to a campsite near Bodium in East Sussex. And it was great, Smudge made friends with the dogs in the next door tent and had a lovely time, he also got to join in a little when the boys played football. He didn't really like the dark or the fire but settled down fine in the tent with a lamp. He also slept through from 12-7 in his crate which is a first.

On the way home we went to Hastings for some fish and chips and to see the sea.

As you can see the waves were a bit scary but the stones on the beach were fun,

All this excitement took its toll, and smudge had a little nap on the way home

Ooops

Ooops, shouldn't have left the milk on the floor. He's such a scamp!

Smudges Pack

Smudge is part of his own pack.

He sees them every morning. He's very sociable and very confident with even the biggest of dogs.

He's in there somewhere.

Smudge training at the park. He's about 13 weeks old here.

Sorry haven't blogged much, as we keep forgetting to take photos. Here is a picture of Smudge enjoying the early morning pack that gathers in our local park. Thats if you can spot him of course.

Sweetness

Couldn't resist posting this one of him on the back door step :)

Training

Smudge's training is coming on well. Here's a snap of Smudge practicing his recalls at the Gravel Hill park, Bexleyheath.

First Walk

Hello fellow bloggers,

Smudge is growing up quickly and now at 12weeks is allowed out!

Here's some snaps of the lil one out and about in Bexleyheath.

11 weeks today

Today is Smudge's 11 week birthday and he celebrated by pricking up his ears, he woke up this morning with 'collie' ears. And decided to dig his first hole in the garden.

Relationship building

Just a quick post to show that Smudge has met the cats and although they aren't best friends they seem to tolerate each other.

I can't believe Smudge has been with us for over a week. Even in this short time he has learnt so much. Here is a picture of him showing off his 'sit' position.

We are also working on his 'down' position and recall. We have also discovered that he likes the landrover better than my golf, perhaps some genetic preference from working ancestors. But he certainly enjoyed the wind in his ears on a little trip out yesterday. He also met his first other dogs, and seemed a little timid, which is something to be worked on in puppy classes.

Finally here is a picture of Smudge sleeping, I can only guess that he is dreaming of jumping over a fence.
